As neighbours Afghanistan and Pakistan met each other for a crucial World Cup 2019 encounter, clashes broke out between fans of both the sides and some of them had to be evicted from the Headingley stadium.

The World Cup 2019 encounter between neighbours Pakistan and Afghanistan saw clashes erupting between fans from both the sides in Leeds on Saturday.
A number of videos have surfaced on Twitter showing the violent clashes which are reported to have happened during the 1st half of the game. According to ESPNcricinfo at least 2 people were also evicted from the Headingley Cricket Ground.
Those evicted reportedly continued the melee outside the stadium and a few journalists who were trying to film the scenes were also allegedly harmed. There have also been reports of fans entering the stadium illegaly and occupying seats.

ICC Source: Fight broke out b/w Pak&Afghan fans in Leeds because a plane was flown which had Balochistan slogans. Apparently it was an unauthorised plane that flew over the stadium&political messages were visible. Leeds air traffic will investigate.
Afghanistan fans beating up a spectator wearing a Pakistan jersey while another shows another set of fans clashing with security personnel. Most tweets from the ground also implicate the Afghanistan fans of causing the ruckus.
